Earl Adams, 90, of Chambersburg, formerly of Tremont, died Thursday in Hagerstown, Md.
He was born in Reilly Township on June 20, 1920, a son of the late Earl J. "Sparky" Adams and Bertha Frew Adams.
He was a retired auto and airplane mechanic.
He was a graduate of Casey Jones School of Aeronautics in New Jersey.
He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Dincklocker Adams, in 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Leah Neveil, Chambersburg; a son, Michael, Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Doris Enders, Tremont; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Joshua Adams.
A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont. Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy will officiate. The Minnig-Berger Funeral Home in Tremont is in charge of local arrangements.
