Melissa was born on September 17, 1963 to Melvin Reese and Beulah Reese in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Johnston High School in 1982 and earned an Associate's Degree from DMACC. Melissa married Tim Coffey on October 28, 1989. She worked as a loan adjuster for Wells Fargo and was co-owner of MMM...Fried Pies.
Melissa will be missed by her loving husband, Tim; children Kaylee Coffey and Kevin Coffey; siblings, Mike Reese, Michele (Jeff) Kohrs, Mark (Julie) Reese, Melinda Reese; mother-in-law, Patricia Coffey; brother-in-law Ronald (Jewel) Coffey; Uncle Harold (Karen) Chandler, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.
