Dies In Car,
Truck Mishap
A Windber, Pa., are man
was pronounced dead on arrival
yesterday at Windber Division
Memorial Hospital of Johns-
town, after his vehicle and a
coal truck collided on Pennsyl-
vania Route 160 at 5:30 p.m.,
four miles south of Windber.
The victim was identified as
Luther E. Doll, 52, of RD 1,
Windber, according to State Po-
lice at Somerset, who indicated
the Doll car, which was travel-
ing south on the highway,
crossed the center line and col-
lided with a coal truck operated
by Robert S. Allison, 19, of RD
3, Johnstown, Pa, who was tra-
veling north.
Police said the victim's car
was demolished and the truck
damaged in the amount of $15,
000.
Police said Mr. Allison was
treated and released at the Wind-
ber hospital for slight abrasions.
After the impact the coal
truck overturned and spilled its
load of coal on the highway, po-
lice added.
