Russell Eugene Henson Sr., 57, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his home in Douglas of natural causes.

Russell was born October 5, 1956 in Douglas, Wyoming the son of Peter Brennard and Isabel L. (Baker) Henson. He was reared and educated in the Douglas, graduating from the Douglas High School in 1975.

Russell's work career began with working on ranches as a cowboy and sheep herder and from there he worked as roughneck in the oilfields, carpenter, and laying carpet with his father and brothers. He was working for Henson Fencing at the time of his death.

He enjoyed fishing, going to the mountain, his Harley Davidson, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Henson; children, Amber (Kenny) Ortega, Tina (Julio) Garcia, Catrino (Nila) Castro, Gaberiel (Erica) Castro, Stephanie (Erica) Aldape, David Ocampo, Russell (Allegra) Henson Jr., Jonathan (Lauren) Henson, and Chai (Kassidy) Henson; siblings, Lynn Paught, Christine (Gary) Anderson, Wilda (Bill) Swan, Charles (Susan) Henson, Peter Henson II, Vicki (John) Hull, Sam (Laura) Henson, and Lorraine Ahrens; grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Hannah, and Olivia Ortega, Ezekiel and Yakira Garibay, Adreana andAidan Castro, Alexis, Valentio, Maxim, and Amora Castro, Shaunta and Jaden Aldape, Jayden, Braden, Chai, Olivia, and Hannah Ocampo, Anthony and Johnny Bronx Henson, Waylon Henson, and Jaxson and Shaylian Henson; and special friend, Belinda Durst.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Pete, on October 25, 2008 and mother, Izzy, on September 17, 2008.
