Her marriage record gives her father and mother as Alexander and Jane. A Mary Butchart born in 1939 to Alexander Butchart and Margaret Moncur is a closer fit than parents James and Annie. The 1939 baptism record is in Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, which is 14 miles north of Dundee, Scotland. Currently the record shows: "Daughter of James and Annie (Frazer) Butchart. She married James Mellen [born Jan 1843 Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland] who was the son of John Mellen and Jane unknown, on 23 Jan 1864 at Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts." I think this James and Annie is incorrect.

Children of James and Mary:

Joseph Francis 1868-1945 #88580402
William Henry 1870-1945
James Phillip 1872-1978

Lewis 1876-1876
Mary Helen 1877-1940
Jane Louise 1880-1966
