Mike Bublik was a miner who had lived in Canada and in the Fernie district for twelve years and in Fernie for ten years when he died of influenza and pneumonia during the Spanish flu epidemic. He was the son of Mike Bublik and Mary Benek, both born in Austria; married but no information on spouse. The informant was Geo. Wosnak of Fernie.
