OBIT: Everett Orval Allen, age 91 of Route 1 Minford, died Wednesday, August 14, 1985, at his residence.
A native of Madison Township in Scioto County, he was the son of George Wesley and Suzanne Wilson Allen, and retired from the Maintenance Department of the N&W Railroad.
Preceded in death by his wife, Maude Shear Allen in1980, he is survived by four sons, Elmer of Route 2, Sciotoville, Clifford of Springfield, Eugene of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Orval of Lucasville, three daughters, Mrs. Lovell Kronk of Sprinfield, Mrs. Doris Whittaker of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Opal Murphy of Route 2, Sciotoville, one sister, Mrs. Kathleen McCain of Route 1, Minford, twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grand children.
The funeral service will be Monday, 10:30am, August 19th at Brant Funeral Home with Reverend Don Williams officiating. Burial is in Scioto Burial Park at Rushtown.
