Charmaine Wieniewitz Smith, 64, of Escatawpa, MS, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Ocean Springs, MS. Charmaine was born on May 12, 1950 in Biloxi, MS. She was a devout catholic and longtime member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moss Point. She worked for Chevron Refinery for many years and her family wishes to thank them for all of their support. She enjoyed sewing, oldies music and taking trips to Walt Disney World. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed dearly.

Charmaine was preceded in death by her father, Henry John Wieniewitz.

She is survived by her loving husband, J.D. Smith; children, Shon E. (Chris) Marshall, Stacie (Ronnie) Stanford, Jay (Lauren) Smith and Allen (Troy Caourville) Smith; mother, Gladys Wieniewitz; grandchildren, Timothy (Crystal) Ehlers, Colby (Shelby) Ehlers, Blake Stanford, Easton Marshall, Mary Katherine Marshall, Morgan Marshall, Miles Smith and Mollie Smith; sisters, Deanna (Charlie) Finnegan, JoAnne (Kenny) Hebert and Karen (Jules) Schubert; brothers, Spud (Nollene) Wieniewitz and Skippy (Ellen) Wieniewitz;David (Lenore) Wieniewitz. along with other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moss Point. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church beginning at 4:00 p.m. with Father Mike Hebert officiating. Interment will be held at Serene Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
