Beth W. Evans passed away on July 8, 2014.

She was born November 6, 1917 to John N. Williams and Lela Adeline Stockman in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Beth grew up in Sugar House and attended Irving and South High Schools.

She married llan L. Jacobs in 1934; later divorced. Six children were born of that union. She later married Herbert W. Evans, who passed away in 1982.

Beth enjoyed working through the years for some fine retail stores, including Auerbachs, Paris, and Pembrokes.

She was an accomplished homemaker, skilled in decorating craftwork, cooking, and gardening. Old classic and western movies and Big Band era music were favored pastimes.

Beth was happy in later years of her life with the love of companion, helpmate, and caregiver Gale Dayton and his daughters.

Beth was a particularly loving, gentle, and kind lady with many friends and relationships very dear to her.

She is survived by Gale and children, Carol, Wayne Perschon, Ross and LaVerda Jacobs, Lynn and spouse, Margie, Dale Jensen, and Norma Zemlicka. Preceded in death by son, Robert Jacobs, and husband, Herbert Evans.

Interment will be held in the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
