AAGESEN, Leonard Neal – Of Flint, age 68, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014
at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Jay Gantz officiating.

Per Leonard's wishes cremation will take place following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice or to Leonard's family.

Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Leonard was born in Flint, Michigan on October 27, 1945 the son of Arthur and Odile (Richards) Aagesen and was a resident of Flint.

On September 25, 1964 he married Saundra Gobel.

He was Chapter Chairman of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for 25 years; was an avid golfer, 17 year member and a sponsor at Alcoholics Anonymous.

He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Mr. Aagesen was employed in construction work for many years.

Surviving are wife, Saundra;

daughter, Jessica Aagesen (Dean Irelan);

grandson, R. Cameron N. Hertzberg (Brittany Johnston);

mother, Odile Aagesen;

sister, Judith Aagesen (Sharon Minor);

brother, Henry (Yvonne) Aagesen.

He was preceded in death by father, Arthur Aagesen; sisters, Helen and Lizbeth Aagesen.
