Myra Kay Jenkins, 60, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 14, in Mason City of natural causes.
She was born Aug. 17, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of Ida May Moore and Charles Jenkins.
Myra was a graduate of East High School. She worked as a custodian for many years at the University of Northern Iowa and also worked for the city of Waterloo for many years until her illness.
Survived by a sister, Valerie Jenkins of Des Moines; a brother, Brent (LaSundria) of Waterloo; her nieces, Ida, Ashley (Marcus), BreAnne and Krissy; her nephews, Meechie, Brent "JJ" (Sherita) and Kellen; several great-nieces and -nephews and cousins; her uncle, Bennie (Lena) Moore; and her aunt, Tina Austin.
Memorial visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Sanders Funeral Service. Her body was cremated.
