Otto Habermann, 77, of 1411 Wentker court, Two Rivers, a retired town of Eaton Farmer, died at Holy Family hospital early this morning following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Emanuel Evangelical United Brethren church in Two Rivers with the Rev. Melvin J. Roehrdanz officiating. Burial will be in Forest View cemetery there.

A son of the late William and Henrietta Schwalbe Habermann, the deceased was born on his parents' farm in Eation in 1870. He married the former Ida Schramm in Two Rivers in 1896. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in March, 1946. Mr. Habermann operated the home farm until his retirement 20 years ago when he moved to Two Rivers. He was a former director of the Collins State bank and a former trustee of the Evangelical church of Eaton.

Surviving are the wife; two sons, Ervin on the home farm and Arthur of route 2, Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Viel of Two Rivers, Mrs. Pauline Isack of Shell Lake, Wis., and Mrs. Ida Wink of Milwuakee; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel funeral home in Two Rivers from 7 p.m. Saturday until 10:30 a.m. Monday when it will be moved to the church to lie in state until time of services.
