Cheryl Ann York Woods age 58 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Sunday, July 13th, 2014, at her residence.
Cheryl was born January 19, 1956 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to her late parents Ray and Patricia York. She worked as a cosmetologist, and owned and operated A Cut Above hair salon. She is preceded in death by her sister Janet Knight and her brother Ray York, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Tricia Richmond of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces Nichole Delsignore and Marcie Bryant; nephews Michael and Keith Knight; one great nephew and two great nieces; special friend Jim Steger of Ellijay, GA also survives.
Memorial services will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date with interment to follow in the Plum Creek Cemetery.
