He was married to Venetta L Henery on May 24,1947, in Emporia,Kansas. She survives. Also surviving are; daughters, Marisa L Hoke, O'Neil, Nebraska, and Marlys L Arnold, Herndon, Virginia; a son, Marcus L Bayless, Topeka; and brother, Jay C Bayless, Topeka.
