Ocie Stephens Adkins age 80 of Oneida, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Oneida Nursing Rehab Center.
Born in Scott County, Tennessee on December 28, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Ova and Manilla Webb Stephens.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Herman Adkins; brother-in-law, Francis Lawson and nephew, Arnold Lawson.She was a member of the Upper Jellico Creek Baptist Church.
Ocie is survived by daughters, Charlotte Crabtree and husband Dudley of Oneida, Marietta Bowling and husband Tony of Winfield, Fay Adkins of Clinton, TN; sons, Lennis Adkins of Winfield, Bruce Adkins and wife Rhonda of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Vanessa, Lance, Adam and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Colton, Logan, Josilynn, Lily, Adysan and Braleigh; sister, Vernie Lawson of Indiana; brother, Arlando (Pete) Stephens of Winfield. She also leaves many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Adkins family on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6 until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Blankenship officiating.
Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Adkins Cemetery.
