Mary R. Lowman
Mary R. Lowman, 91, of Greenfield died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Hearth and Care, Greenfield.
She was born Dec. 7, 1922 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Flora Wilson Skaggs.
On Nov. 28, 1938, she married Floyd C. Lowman, who died March 22, 1973.
She is survived by three children, Anna Margaret Lowman of Greenfield, Floyd C. Lowman, Jr. of Fruitdale and Robert L. Lowman of Greenfield; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edith Rachford of South Salem, Phyllis Sexton and Cora Bayse both of Greenfield; two brothers, Fred and Richard Skaggs both of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by three daughters, Norma Jean and Mary Elizabeth Lowman and Lucy Loraine Hatfield; two grandchildren; a great-great-great-grandchild; two sisters; and four brothers.
Mary was a great mother and grandmother who loved to quilt.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 18 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge with Robert Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with the Lowman family from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
