Halford Glenn "Hal" Adams, 52, of 547 Tippet Road, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.
Born in Wake County, October 5, 1955, he is the son of Clinton Loyd and Bettie Hart Adams of Angier who survive.
Hal was a devoted husband and father, a man of great humility and integrity. He worked all his life in new home construction, most recently with Brinley's Grading Company. Through all of his endeavors, he has touched so many, and will truly be missed. Mr. Adams was a graduate of N.C. State University in 1977, with a BS degree in Horticulture.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Roxane E. Adams; daughter, Malissa F. Adams of Raleigh; son, Lt. Chadburn G. Adams and wife, Ann of Meridian, MS; brothers, William Clint Adams and wife, Tammy, David M. Adams and wife, Lori all of Angier; grandchildren, Shelby, Walter, and Lucy Adams, and a host of aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and other times at the home of Clinton and Bettie Adams, 469 Tippet Road, Angier.
Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Angier Baptist Church, Building Fund, 155 South Hickory St., Angier, NC 27501.
