Melissa "Boo Boo" Taylor, age 36 of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, July 8 at her residence. She leaves behind her loving mother, Belvie Cox Taylor; five children, Roxanne, Harley, LeAnne, Chyanne, and Ashley Taylor; special friend, Billy Smith; six brothers and sisters, Veda Wright and husband Jerry, Tommy Taylor and wife Shonda, Denny Taylor and wife Dede, Lawrence Collingsworth and friend Mary Harrell, Laura Taylor and friend Delbert Proffitt, and Michael Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father, Denny Collingsworth; and one brother, Luke Taylor. Funeral services for Melissa "Boo Boo" Taylor will be conducted on Monday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge United Baptist Church in Corbin with Elder Dorsey King officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery of Corbin.
