Ed worked for the United States Corp of Engineers until he was drafted into the United States Army and served in the China Burma India theatre. A graduate of the University of New Mexico, he worked for the IRS until retirement.

Ed loved music and gardening. Ed enjoyed listening to jazz and blues. His favorite instrument was the piano and in his earlier years he was a pianist for dance bands. Ed never forgot a family member's birthday. We will always remember picking up the phone and hearing him play Happy Birthday on the organ. Eddie will long be remembered for his love, his faith and respect for other as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Ed was a loving caretaker for Emily, his wife. The way he lived his life was an inspiration to all who came to know him.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Ed's caregiver Rose Chávez.
