Patsy Jean Hunt, 75, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away July 12, 2014, at the Willows Center of Parkersburg after an extended illness.
She was born May 28, 1939, the daughter of the late Wayne and Anne (Law) Chedester.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She was survived by her daughter, Tina (Dave) Jarrett of Palestine, W.Va.; two sons, Ronnie (Lynette) Hunt of Elizabeth and John Hunt of Elizabeth; sister, Machelle Gapa of Elizabeth; son-in-law, Gordy Linville of Elizabeth; brothers-in-law, Butch Mason and Bobby (Sharon) Hunt of Idaho; sisters-in-law, Ginny (Elmer) Woodring of Parkersburg and Loretta (Paul) Knapp of Ft. Mills, S.C.; five grandchildren, Lisa Adams, Matthew Hunt, Lindsay Rose, Joshua Shrader and Jake Linville; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband of 50 years, Ronzel Hunt; one daughter, Talina Linville; a sister, Zelma Mason; brothers-in-law General, Leo and Emerson Hunt; and one great-grandson, Trenton Hunt.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
