MARION, IN-Shelly L. Hudson, 46, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Marion.
She was born on January 25, 1968 in Elwood and has resided in Marion for the past 15 years. Shelly was a graduate of Elwood Community High School-Class of 1988. She had worked as a substitute teacher and classroom volunteer at Allen Elementary School in Marion. She was dedicated to her family and also the school she worked in. She enjoyed crocheting, camping and fishing.

Friends are invited to call at the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Cremation will follow the visitation time. Interment services will take place at the convenience of the family in Starr Cemetery in rural Alexandria.
