Maurice P Trostle, 95, of 470 Knoxlyn road, Gettysburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Michael Manor Convalescent Home.
He was born in Adams County, son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Deitrich Trostle.
He was a member of Flohrs Lutheran
Church and was a farmer in the ?Adams County area most of his life, retiring in 1959. He was twice married. His first wife, the late Jennie B Hankey Trostle, died in 1946.
Surviving is his second wife, Edna Fogelsonger Trostle, one son, Glen R Trostle of Gettysburg; one stepdaughter, Anna Mary Smith of Arendtsville three grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with his pastor the Rev. Douglas Y Boden officiating. Interment will be in Flohrs Cemetery.
