Carline Mary Doerr, 62, of Stonewall, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at Seton Medical Center in Austin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Thomas officiating.
Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Ms. Doerr was born April 21, 1944, in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of Carl Francis Doerr Sr. and Mary Frances Scanlon Doerr.
She was the first female officer of the Bridgeport, CT, police department. While serving on the force, she achieved the rank of captain.
Included among her survivors is a sister-in-law, Loretta Doerr of Kerrville.
Her parents, as well as a brother, Carl Francis Doerr Jr. preceded her in death.
