Architect. A student and son-in-law of 'Capability' Brown, later becoming a teacher of John Soane. Holland worked on the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the Royal Opera House. later laying out a street plan for Chelsea and Knightsbridge which made them highly fashionable in the Regency years. Famous for his neoclassical style, he also created the Marine Pavilion in Brighton.
