Clyde Wilson Reeves, 84, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Friday, April 27th, 2018 at Comfort Care Nursing Home in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Friday, December 29, 1933 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel with funeral services following at 10:00am in the chapel. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342

Mr. Clyde was a retired carpenter and a member of the Myrick Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. His family remembers him as " the most patient man in the world" and "a good daddy." He will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Reeves and Annie Reeves Keaton; wife, Sandra Reeves; son, Clyde "Buddy" Reeves Jr. and brothers, Lamar Reeves and Jodie Reeves.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah McCraw (Steve), Laurel, MS and Latisha Ward (Hardy), Laurel, MS; grandchildren, Erica Barefoot, Laurel, MS, Patrick Hendry, Pensacola, FL, Kacie McCraw, Laurel, MS, Stacey Reeves, Laurel, MS, Aubrey Reeves, Fl; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Johnson, Laurel, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Pallbearers will be Steve McCraw, Hardy Thigpen, Ed Ray, Jeff Clark, Howard Musgrove, and Chris Mack.
