Services will be at 1 p.m. today at First Christian Church here for Tom Nichols, 68, of Knoxville, who died of cancer Wednesday at Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Born in Bussey, Mr. Nichols was a Knoxville resident most of his life. He was a retired employee of the Veterans Hospital here.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; one daughter, Betty Lundy of Urbandale; one brother, Lewis of Knoxville; three sisters, Loretta Scott of Williamson, and Margie Gillham and Lucille Nichols, both of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
