Mrs. R. M. Smith, 82 - Mrs. Arie Smith, 82, died Monday morning after an extended illness at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Saint of Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church by the Rev. Walter Hill. Mrs. Smith was from Etowah county but had lived in the Mt. Pleasant community for 35 or 40 years. Her husband died 13 years ago. She is survived by a son, Monroe Smith of Grant; 6 daughters, Mrs. Delia Key, Mrs. Bertha Saint and Mrs. Chessie M. Hayes, all of Grant, Mrs. Cora Lemaster of Boaz, Mrs. Ola B. Saint of Albertville and Mrs. Leora Hill of Gadsden; a sister, Mary N.
