Steve Bryant, 46, of Brunswick, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Bean officiating. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.

Born July 25, 1967 in Fairfax, Virginia to William H. "Bill" and Joyce P. Bryant, he had been a resident of Glynn County since 1975. He was a 1985 Graduate of Glynn Academy, and was employed with Bill Bryant Painting for over 25 years, and most recently with Gary Robinson Painting. Mr. Bryant was an avid sports fan and his favorites were the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a respected coach, having spent many years on the field coaching his beloved children as well as others in softball and baseball. He was a true family man, the best father, husband and son that anyone could ever have. He was of the Christian faith. Participating in the Walk to Emmaus in 1995, he also enjoyed the servanthood of working numerous other Walks.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Kim Padgett Bryant, a son, Trevor Bryant, a daughter, Mallory Bryant, his parents, Bill and Joyce Bryant, all of Brunswick, a brother, Bill Bryant, Jr. and wife Lynn of Alma, father and mother in law, Nash and Elizabeth Padgett of Brunswick, a niece, Erin Bryant of Brunswick and a nephew, Matthew Bryant of Nashville, Tennessee, and a host of extended family and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the girls of the Coastal Heat Travel Softball Team, Jim Van Allen, J.R. Van Allen, Brett Schmid, Eddie Rowell, Robert Solomon, Jimmy Willis, Gary Robinson; his cousins: Todd Rocha, Evan Rocha and Christopher Hermes and his nephew Matthew Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening July 16, 2014 from 6PM until 8 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. www.edomillerandsons.com
