Michael Wayne Braden, 45, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Perry County Community Hospital. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Sunday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday at Garner Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Braden was a Sergeant First Class for the Tennessee National Guard. He was also a member of Victory Baptist Church, the Tennessee National Guard Association, and was a TWRA Hunter Safety Instructor.

The husband of Jennifer Braden, he is survive by 2 daughters Alex Barber and Blair Braden both of Ripley, 2 sons Wyatt Braden of Ripley and Sebastian Bennett of Ohio; a sister Bonnie Hood of Jacksboro, TN; 2 brothers Hal Braden of Ripley and David Braden of Munford, and his parents Harold Gene and Bonnie Faye Braden of Ripley.
