Robert Chapman Sr.

Robert Chapman Sr., 79, of Little Hocking, Ohio, died at Camden Clark Memorial Center, Memorial Campus in Parkersburg.

He was born in Servia, W.Va., on March 8, 1932, the son of the late Roscoe and Glenna Arnold Chapman.

He was a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church in Little Hocking. He retired from Borg Warner as a truck driver. Robert was an avid hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Zetah McCain Chapman of Coolville and part time Little Hocking; two sons, Robert Jr. (Diane) Chapman of Belpre and Larry (Janice) Chapman of Zanesville, Ohio; his daughter, Kay Riggins of Belpre; a stepson, Dale (Amy) McCain of Coolville; five grandchildren, James (Carla) Chapman, Jason Riggins, Amber Riggins, Ginger Riggins and Kayla Chapman; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Morgan Chapman; two step-grandsons, Donnie McCain and Jason McCain, U.S. Army; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Quindora Chapman; a brother, Arnold Chapman; and his granddaughter, Heather Chapman.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Vernon Snell officiating. Burial will follow in Torch Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
