He was born June 24, 1911, in Marshall Township, Rose Creek. He graduated from Rose Creek High School and served in the Army from Feb. 25, 1941, to Oct. 2, 1945. On Nov. 20, 1945, he married Adele Niehuis in Rose Creek. Mr. Reagan was a retired superintendent for Huntting Elevator, retiring after 32 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Dennis) Vaughter of Burton, Mich., Sharon (Mrs. Martin) Thonen of Omaha, Neb., and Virginia Reagan of Circle Pines, Minn.; a son, John of Austin; two granddaughters; a brother, Bernard of Rose Creek; and two sisters, Monica (Mrs. Olaf) Johnson of Rose Creek and Muriel (Mrs. George) Hangge of Austin. He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Austin with the Rev. Donald Zenk officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by the V.F.W. and American Legion.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at Mayer Funeral Home.
