Feb 17, 1984 - Humboldt county Independent - Jerry Finney, 50, Dakota City, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 14, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital in Humboldt of pneumonia. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Surviving are a brother, Eugene Finney, Anderson, Ind.; sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Mildred) Hanson, Cheektowaga, N.Y.; Mrs. Russell (Phyllis) Haas, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. Leo
(Betty) Lee, Benton, Ark.

Jerry Finney was born Oct. 4, 1938, to Clifford and Gertrude Lissmore Finney at Humboldt. He received his education in the Humboldt and Dakota City schools. He was employed by the Foley Greenhouse in Humboldt for many years and made his home in Dakota City.
