Vincent C. Marinaro died of leukemia on 2 March 1986 in Newville, Pennsylvania. In March of 1986, the Letort Regulars fly fishing group held a special Last Supper ceremony in the great man's honor at "Marinaro's Meadow" on the Letort Spring Run. From a railroad trestle Vince's ashes were dropped into the spring creek that he had made legend.
