BRANDON - John "Tom" Lumbard, 71, died Thursday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Rock Star Baptist Church with burial in Gregory Cemetery at Magee. Peoples Funeral Home of Jackson is handling arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dovie Lee Lumbard; daughter, Mrs. Ruby Jewel Lumbard of Jackson; sons, Tommie Lee Lumbard of Columbus, Ga., and Johnnie B. Lumbard of Brandon; brother, Maxey Lumbard of Detroit, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hall and Mrs. Ruth Oldham, both of Detroit, Mich.; and eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
