He married Silberia Luebano on September 12, 1961 in Crosbyton. Rudy was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. He loved to read, be around people and liked history. Rudy was always happy and had an excellent sense of humor. He loved his family with everything he had.
He is preceded in death by his wife. Rudy is survived by one son, three daughters, three brothers, four sisters, and three grandchildren.
Burial in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
