Thelma Venita Griffin

Died October 2, 1998, born July 4, 1898 in Marysvale, Utah.

Spent childhood in Marysvale, Utah, attended Wasatch Academy High School in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Married William Clyde Griffin, an employee of the Utah State Road Commission, in 1924, and after his death, during World War II, worked for the Remington Arms War Depot, and later, for the Bell Telephone Company.

They had three children, Bill, who died in infancy, Helen Jean, and Blaine Griffin. Preceded in death by her husband, three children, and one sister. Survived by two sisters, one brother, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Order of Eastern Star, and a donor to the University of Utah.
