Evelyn L. Kelley, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away July 11, 2014. She was born February 7, 1930 in Owensboro, KY, to the late Charles L. and Mary Ella McDonald Kelley.

Evelyn was a graduate of Danville High School and attended nursing school. She was a LPN for the Rodebush Veteran's Hospital and St. Vincent Stress Center.

Evelyn was a devoted Christian in spirit and action. She was the primary caregiver for her longtime companion, Shirley Ott and had a lifelong passion of giving to others. Evelyn loved singing gospel music and baking. She was known as the "Sweet Lady".

Evelyn is survived by her primary caregivers, Connie and Patsy Kelley, Kay Kelley Gutierrez; and many other nieces and nephews. Six brothers; and three sisters, preceded her in death.

Indiana services entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel. Final services entrusted to James Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro.
