Following high school, Lenny served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Eveleth in 1955. He was united in marriage to Nancy Carol DePaulis on July 6, 1957, in Eveleth. Lenny began working for Dawson's Paint, Carpet and Linoleum as an interior flooring installer. He purchased the business in 1971 and retired after thirty plus years in the business. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking, grocery shopping, cooking, gardening, visiting with people; especially the employees at Ely Lake Short Stop.
Lenny is survived by his children: Lance (Doreen), Dennis, and Louise (Dan) Rodriguez; grandchildren: Amanda and Alex Dawson; Jackie and Daniel Rodriguez; and numerous nephews, nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents; brothers: Julius, Harry, Paul, Walter, Milton, Gene; and sisters: Anne, Dorothy, Josephine and Antoinette.
Interment will be in Eveleth Cemetery.
