STOKES, WILMA GRACE, Wilma Grace Stokes went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2003. Her husband William R. preceded her in death, and together they were instrumental in founding the first two independent Baptist churches in Orlando. She was faithful both in serving in her church and her family until her homegoing. Her children bless her memory. Survivors include one son, Keith Stokes of Orlando; two daughters, Margie Thomas and Janet Betchan, both of Orlando. Seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive. Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
