Mr. Samuel Dewayne Riley, age 16, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was born January 19, 1997 in Atmore AL. to Darrell and Sharon Riley. He was a member of Deliverance Ministries of Jesus Christ, Inc. where he was a faithful member of Sunday school and youth department. He received a perfect attendance award. He attended Escambia County High School and was a proud member of the Class of 2015. He loved to play basketball and was a fan of the University of Alabama and Miami Heat.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Joanne Burkett; grandparents, Birdie Ann Burkett and Sylvia Martin.

Mr. Riley is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Darrell and Sharon Riley; sisters, Destiny Faith Riley, Kayla Wood and Maranda Burkett; brother, Jessie Burkett; grandparents, Sammy and Mary Riley, Velma Redmond, Charles (Judy) Brown and Mose Burkett; great-grandmother, Rosie Mae Riley; aunts, Alisa riley, Shinora (Eric) Montgomery, Doreatha (Glenn) Moorer, Shritha (Fred) King, Tamara Tolbert, Latoya Powers, Carla Mae Simpson and Sherry Haynes; uncles, Quinton Riley, Vernon Riley, Sammy (Maritha) Riley, Marcus (Jackie) Wilson, Detrick (Debra Riley, Labaron Jones and Melvin Brown; God brother, DeMarcus McMillian; "The Amigos" Joshua Hill and Jamel Moore; host of nephews, cousins, other family members, Deliverance Ministry Family and friends.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Escambia county High School with Pastor Derrick Bishop officiating and Bishop Bernard Bishop, eulogy.

Interment followed in Stallworth Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joshua Bishop, Jamel Moore, Demarcus McMillian, TyAnthony Riley, De'Anfernee Dailey and Jamarcus Curry.
Honorary pallbearers were his uncles.
Flower bearers were the ECHS Class of 2015 and friends.
