She was the daughter of Jan Nepom Kostohryz and Kristina Bednar. She married Anthony F. Ritter on April 30, 1924.

On May 5, 1980, CECILIA A., (nee Kostohryz), formerly of 905 N. Duncan street and St. Wenceslaus Parish, beloved wife of the late Anthony F. Ritter, devoted mother of Tillie and Frank Basta, Libby and John Dennis, and Ceil and Harold Reich, dear sister of the late Mary Rosenberger and Helen Reese. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to 9 P.M. at the Cvach/Rosedale Funeral Home, Inc. 1211 Chesaco avenue. Prayer service Wednesday 7 P.M. A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10 A.M., St; Clement's Church. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Baltimore Association for Retarded Citizens.
