WEATHERFORD, Texas - Shirley J. Paul, 83, of Weatherford, Texas, formerly of Burlington/South Burlington passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 8, 2014.
Shirley was born in Burlington on July 5, 1931, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Quebec) Brown.
She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and a former member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in South Burlington.
On Feb. 14, 1974, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Paul.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents; her brothers and sisters, Leonard Brown and wife, Evelyn, Marjorie Ellis and husband, Raymond, Loretta Thomas and husband, Louis, and Harry Brown Jr. and wife, Kathleen. A nephew, Stephen Brown and wife, Sandra; and a niece, Sandra Ellis, also predeceased her.
Arrangements by the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski, VT 05404.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, 160 Hinesburg Rd., South Burlington.
Interment will follow in Resurrection Park Catholic Cemetery.
