Beloved mother, wife and grandmother, Betty S. Cook, passed away after a short illness in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 28, 1995.

Betty was born May 25, 1925 in River Heights, Utah to Ralph Heming and Suzanna Ada Kendrick Stevens. Married Wendell A. Cook on Nov. 19, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple. Betty was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society and Primary. Member DUP. She loved the holidays, her family, reading and animals. She has faithfully cared for her husband for many years. She had many, many friends; loved by all. She will be missed greatly.

Survived by her husband, Wendell; four children, Linda and Chuck Atwood, Wilder, Idaho; Cheryl Jean Cook, West Valley City; Paul and Kathy McDermaid, Taylorsville; Brad and Betty Cook, West Valley City; eight grandchildren, Chaz, Derk, Nicole, Charlie, Stacy, Joey, Jenny, and Jill. One great-grandchild, Kiana; stepmother, Zina Stevens, several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 1996 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
