Motion Picture Director, Screenwriter. He was born in Valencia, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain. He was thes son of a politician who was condemned to death by the two sides confronted during Spanish Civil War. He developed his career in the production company CIFESA. He began as screenwriter for the film "El Hombre que se Quiso Matar." In 1943, he directed his first film "El 13-13" and from his death, he worked in all genres, specially in comedies and films with child actors. He is remembered for "Un Hombre de Negocios" (1945), "Dos Cuentos para Dos" (1947), "La Princesa de los Ursinos" (1947), "Currito de la Cruz" (1948), "La Duquesa de Benamejí" (1949), "La Hermana San Sulpicio" (1952), "Morena Clara" (1954), "Molokai" (1959), "Un Rayo de Sol" (1960), "Canción de Juventud" (1962) and "Zampo y Yo" (1965).
