Troy, IL--Funeral services for Mrs. Nola N. Stock, 66, of 209 east Oak St. have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Edwards Funeral Home with interment in Friedens Cemetery. The Rev. Merle Yokum will officiate.
Mrs. Stock died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where she had been a patient five days. She had been in ill health about nine months.
Daughter of George W. and Jerusia Smart Anderson, she was born Feb. 1, 1898 in Pin Oak Township. She married Robert Stock on Oct. 17, 1918 in a ceremony at the home of her parents.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Miss Roberta P. Stock, Orlo C. and Roger I. Stock, all of Troy; three brothers and two sisters, Clarence A. and Loren A. Anderson and Mrs. Sally Bussong of Troy, Robert J. Anderson of Monticello and Mrs. Georgia Schwehr of Denver, Colo. Five grandchildren survive.
She was preceded in death by one son, Marvin N., who was aboard the submarine Trigger which was reported missing in May, 1945 during World War II. He was declared dead on April 20, 1946.
Mrs. Stock was a member of the First Baptist Church, Highland.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home this evening after 7 o'clock.
