Ruby Pauline Blackburn, 88, of Paris passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at Paris Regional Medical Center at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into its care.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Hamel and the Rev. Claude Plunk officiating. Burial follows in Jamison Chapel Cemetery, Clarksville.
The family receives friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1917, the daughter of Talmadge D. and Lula Ann Self Weaver in Red River County. She married Charley Blackburn on May 11, 1944, in Clarksville. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church.
Her parents; a daughter; two sisters; and two brothers proceeded her in death.
She is survived by her husband; three sons; Bob and wife, Naomi Hinds, of Midlothian, Danny and wife, Carol Blackburn, of Houston and Doug and wife, Pat Hines, of Paris, along with 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Her grandsons will serve as casket bearers.
