AUSTIN -- Mildred Corcoran, 85, of 809 W. Oakland Ave., an Austin homemaker and Taopi native, died Tuesday morning (Nov. 2, 1993) at her home.

Mildred Boe was born March 6, 1908, in Taopi. She married John "Jack" Corcoran June 30, 1929, in Cherry Grove. Her husband died in 1975.

Survivors include five sons, David of Cresco, Iowa, Gene and Gary, both of Austin, Danny of Stillwater, Minn., and John of Wells, Minn.; a daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Harlan) Mandler of Merifield, Minn.; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Juletta "Curly" Wignes of Long Beach, Calif., Helen Palmer and Hazel Hall, both of Grand Meadow, Nona (Mrs. Willis) Erie and Shirley (Mrs. Raymond) Harrington, both of Le Roy; and four brothers, James Boe of Taopi, Harlan Boe of Le Roy, Vernon Boe of Whitehall, Mont., and Don "Duke" Boe of Austin. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin. The Rosary Society rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Thursday and there will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
