Matthew J. Milner, 20, of Greenville, a son of William J. and Linda K. (Rhodes) Milner of Greenville, died Aug. 13.
A 2003 graduate of Smithfield High School, Mr. Milner was a loan officer at Referral Mortgage Company in Warwick.
He was a member of the Smithfield Youth Basketball Association and the St. Philip CYO basketball program.
An avid sports enthusiast, especially basketball and golf, he enjoyed officiating youth basketball games and was looking forward to coaching in the fall.
Besides his parents he leaves two brothers, two sisters, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
