A resident of this area all of her life, Debbie was born on December 3, 1962 in Davidson County to Robert and Nancy Fowler Cain. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thomasville. She especially enjoyed her church, gardening, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of over 36 years, Rev. Floyd Edwards of the home; son, Terry Edwards and his wife Taylor of Thomasville; daughter, Elaine Hanner and her husband Allen of Thomasville; and her grandchildren, Austin, Carlie, and Emery. Also surviving is her mother, Nancy Cain, and her siblings.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Southgate Baptist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Chuck Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Archdale. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street.
