LENNOX, Elizabeth Thomas Was born on September 24, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Lillian Shaw and Franklin Thomas. Beth was married to William Bartholomew Lennox. The couple settled in Cambridge and had no children. In the 1980's, she was the proprietor of the legendary Central Square restaurant Mom's Kitchen on Massachusetts Avenue and was "Mom" to generations of hungry MIT and Harvard students. Beth was an active and long-time member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Central Square, Cambridge. She passed away after an illness with flu and heart condition complications at Mt. Auburn Hospital on January 14, 2013. The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 838 Massachusetts Avenue at Sellers Street, Central Square, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26 with a collation to follow.
